Technology Review India
Recently I had a chance to glance through the Magazine Technology Review India, MIT's Magazine on Innovation. The last page article was an article on Mapping of Citizens which spoke about some IBM technologies in a vague manner. To be candid it seemed a press release of IBM technologies. Coincidentally, the ad on the inside back cover page facing the article was that of IBM.

ReplyDeleteDear Anirban,
Greetings from Technology Review!
Thanks for your feedback.
Please allow me to mention that the article on Mapping Citizens was carved out of one of the innovative solutions we received for TR Grand Challenges program. The solution is unique as far as technology is concerned and you may read reference about "how" in the editorial "Predicting the Indian Heart Genetically" (February 2011, p. 9).
The Last Page stories is a social impact section where we feature technologies that can have larger impact, and therefore the choice of IBM's solution this time.
Thanks again for your feedback and the effort of writing in. We value your opinion and will keep it in records for developing Technology Review India in better ways.
Look forward to a fruitful and lasting relationship with you.
Warm regards,
Vantika
